Safflower oil is a vegetable oil extracted from the seeds of safflower crop.
Safflower oil is flavorless and colorless, contains omega-6 fatty acids and Vitamin E. Though found in olive oil, sunflower oil and other edible oils too, the fatty acids in safflower oil are healthier from low cholesterol and less fats point of view.
Oleic safflower oil is high in monounsaturated fatty acid (oleic acid), very stable on heating and do not produce smoke or smell during frying, also less vulnerable to spoilage due to extreme low or high temperatures.
